LORNA HALILI PARHAM
Lorna was born and raised in the Philippines.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting, from Holy Angel University at the age of 20.
In November 1989, at age 25, Lorna accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. In December of the same year, she came to the United States of America, where she attended Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque New Mexico. This is where her “spiritual boot camp” began, and her intimacy with Jesus was enriched as she fell passionately in love with God’s Word.
In 1994, Lorna’s family moved to Dacula, Georgia, due to job relocation. There she became involved in various ministries. Her personal love for studying God’s word, involvement in children’s and women’s ministries, greeting, missions and teaching Sunday school classes solidified her God-given calling to teach women
In 2002, Lorna founded Oasis Ministries International, which was born while Lorna was bed-ridden for three years. This ministry started in the United States with Lorna organizing and speaking at women’s retreats and conferences. At the time, her ten-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Myers, served alongside her as one of the ministry’s first worship leaders.
By 2005, Oasis Ministries International launched its first women’s conference in the Philippines. The ministry partnered with local churches in organizing and coordinating between two and four conferences per mission’s trip.
In 2017, a medical mission and evangelistic crusade were launched in honor of Lorna’s father, Orlando Pacheco Halili.
For the last 14 years, Oasis Ministries International has been flourishing and focusing on outreaches in the Philippines. In December 2018, the Lord began laying on Lorna’s heart that He wanted the ministry back in the United States. From this prompting came The Gathering, a women’s conference in partnership with New Bridge Church and Transforming Truth.
Lorna is married to Dennis Parham. Together they have four children: Elizabeth, 26; Renee 26; Taylor, 23 and John, 23.
